Employee Spotlight: Litigation Practice Group Leader Daniel Park

08.11.2025 | NEWS

At Bullivant, we are proud of the team of attorneys and professionals we have assembled. That’s why we are excited to continue our Employee Spotlight series where we highlight the unique individuals who make our firm exceptional and shape our company culture. Through these spotlights, we aim to share the stories, experiences, and passions of our team members, showcasing the diverse talents and dedication that drive Bullivant forward. Today we’re interviewing Daniel Park, a Shareholder in our Seattle office and the leader of our Litigation Practice Group.

How long have you been with the firm?

I joined Bullivant three years ago and have been practicing litigation for the past 18 years. I learned about Bullivant’s reputation as an outstanding defense firm through the Seattle legal community and had former coworkers that worked for the firm long before I became a member. This year, I was selected to be one the firm’s Practice Group Leaders. Although my tenure at Bullivant has been relatively brief, I feel like I have been with the firm much longer. I quickly built strong relationships with colleagues and developed a sense of belonging and purpose. Joining Bullivant has been one of the most positive experiences of my career.

What do you like most about the work that you do?

Bullivant has a dynamic litigation practice with a broad range of clients and areas of law. Every day is different and brings new challenges. Litigation is interesting because it requires attorneys to become subject matter experts for the areas at issue in their lawsuits, whether that involves mastery of a specific legal issue or developing knowledge about a technical or scientific topic. I also enjoy learning about my client’s businesses and objectives to find efficient solutions for resolving legal disputes. Some of my most memorable cases have involved guiding small businesses or individuals through the litigation process. Being sued can be intimidating, and all defendants should have experienced attorneys to protect their rights and make informed decisions.

What do you enjoy most about working at Bullivant?

I work with a group of incredibly skilled, diligent, and supportive individuals at Bullivant. Our attorneys and staff frequently collaborate to share knowledge and resources to achieve the best results for our clients. Our firm values teamwork and respect and encourages genuine connections with colleagues to support each other’s success and well-being. Litigation is hard work and often demanding. I truly enjoy working with our team at Bullivant.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?

I am a Midwest transplant and still admire the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Whenever possible, my family enjoys taking trips or camping at the many wonderful parks and beaches in our area, especially the Washington and Oregon coasts.

Daniel Park is a shareholder at Bullivant’s Seattle office, the Practice Group Leader for Litigation, and a member of the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. He is also the acting commissioner for the Seattle office’s fantasy football league and NCAA March Madness pool. He is still waiting to win a title for either league.
