Jacqueline Mitchson<\/strong><\/p>\n Jackie helps leading insurers resolve first and third-party coverage disputes and bad faith litigation. She also provides coverage advice and writes coverage opinions when clients have questions about novel coverage issues. In addition, Jackie represents insurance and non-insurance clients in appellate matters. Jackie began practicing law in 2014, joined Bullivant in November 2015, and works in the firm\u2019s Insurance Law Group.<\/p>\n Alexander H. Hill<\/strong><\/p>\n Alex, who has practiced law since 2013, joined Bullivant in April 2018 working in the Business Law Group. He defends businesses, employers, nonprofits, insurers, and other organizations in disputes throughout Oregon and Washington. He is sought after in employment defense cases, has tried several employment discrimination cases to verdict, and regularly represents private universities for claims involving students and employees.<\/p>\n Jared F. Kiess<\/strong><\/p>\n Jared Kiess is a commercial litigator whose practice consists primarily of representing insurers in first- and third-party coverage disputes. Jared also has expertise in appellate matters, representing both insurance and non-insurance clients in appeals. He has been practicing law since 2015, joined Bullivant in June 2019, and works in the firm\u2019s Insurance Law Group.<\/p>\n David J. Ryan<\/strong><\/p>\n Dave has been practicing law for nearly three decades. He joined Bullivant\u2019s Insurance Law Group in February of 2020. His work is primarily focused on resolving disputes involving insurance coverage, professional liability, and general liability claims, including claims associated with environmental remediation and property damage.<\/p>\n Mary C. Butler<\/strong><\/p>\n Mary is an experienced trial attorney, who regularly defends businesses and professionals in litigation involving negligence, premises liability, product liability, professional malpractice, breach of contract, wrongful death and catastrophic injury. She also has significant experience representing businesses and vessel owners in maritime cases including the defense of seaman\u2019s personal injury and wrongful death claims, wreck removals, and vessel arrests.<\/p>\n Westin McLean<\/strong><\/p>\n Westin has been defending bad faith actions and providing coverage opinions and advice to insurance carriers regarding all types of property, casualty, auto, specialty, builder\u2019s risk, professional liability, and general liability policies since 2009. Westin joined Bullivant\u2019s Insurance Law Group in June 2021.
